It’s summer time and the hot rods are back in downtown Lombard showing off their shine on Saturday Nights. Some are works in progress while most are beautiful final products. Just about every parking lot and space if full with blasts from the past.

No matter what your favorite car is you’ll find it here. Most of the shops stay open so you can check out the downtown and pick up a pizza or ribs or grab an ice cream cone it’s a perfect flashback. Click here to print out a list of businesses you’ll find there. Of course if you had too many ribs the walk around will do you good.

Check the schedule here so you can find out what live entertainment will be featured that night. Try to get there before the summer ends because you know how winter is… It’s going to long time before you see them again.

My hopes are other residents will find this site and find out more about their downtown and the interesting people that live here.  I can’t wait to start meeting some of the people I’ve worked and lived next door to for the past 7 years.
